Follow these steps to seamlessly connect incoming leads from your iHouse Elite website to your ‘Follow Up Boss’ account.
1. Access the ‘Follow Up Boss’ Integration Section
Log in to your iHouse Elite website.
Navigate to TurboLeads and select Settings from the menu.
Under Settings, find and click on Follow Up Boss Integration.
2. Create or Prepare Your ‘Follow Up Boss’ Account
In the integration section, you’ll see two steps.
Step 1: Click Go Now to visit the ‘Follow Up Boss’ website.
If you don’t have an account, sign up for a free 14-day trial or choose the plan that fits your needs.
After creating your account or signing in, you’ll need to generate your API key
3. Generate an API Key in ‘Follow Up Boss’
In your ‘Follow Up Boss’ dashboard, go to the Admin area.
Look for the top navigation menu and click API (this may be found under ‘More’).
Click Create API Key.
Give your API key an appropriate, recognizable name.
Important: The API key will be shown only once. Copy it and store it somewhere safe. If the key is lost or compromised, you’ll need to create a new one.
4. Connect ‘Follow Up Boss’ to Your iHouse Elite Website
Return to TurboLeads and select Settings and then Follow Up Boss Integration again.
Step 2: Click Link Follow Up Boss.
Switch the connection toggle from Off to On.
Paste your Follow Up Boss API key into the provided field.
Click Save.
Once saved, your website will use the API key to establish a secure connection and display a confirmation message or relevant information below.
5. Confirm Integration and Adjust Settings (Optional)
The integration is now active. You can further configure settings from your ‘Follow Up Boss’ dashboard, including:
Lead tracking
Alert preferences
Additional user or lead assignment settings
