Step-by-Step Tutorial: Testimonial Import for Zillow


Testimonial Import can streamline your client testimonials by automatically importing new reviews from platforms like Zillow. This powerful feature helps showcase your success stories and build trust with potential customers by displaying authentic testimonials on your website. 

Overview
The Testimonial Import, using Zillow in this example, will import your 10 most recent Zillow testimonials as a starting point and then continue to update automatically with any new Zillow reviews going forward automatically. 

Prerequisites
Before starting you’ll need to know:

  • How to access to your iHouse Elite Website Admin Menu

  • What email address you have associated with your respective Zillow account

  • That you have a Testimonial/Review on Zillow for the initial import and connection

Step 1: Navigate to Testimonial Import

  • Log into your iHouse Elite Website Admin Menu, If unfamiliar- the walkthrough on how to do so can be seen here 

  • Locate and click Integrations from the Admin menu: Under the Website Admin side menu you’ll find Integrations, clicking integrations will expand to show Testimonial Import. Click Testimonial Import



Step 2: Establish Testimonial Import Connection

  • Check the box to ‘Enable Zillow Retrieval

  • Enter the Email address you have associated with your respective Zillow account

  • Press Test Email to ensure it is valid and free of typos.

  • You can then press ‘Save Configuration’. A confirmation will appear on screen notifying you the 10 most recent reviews will be imported now. 


Note: Platform specific rules for Zillow will limit some display options such as display order needing to be in most recent order and limiting the ability to hide individual reviews  when automation is active. 


‘Edit your Testimonials’ and ‘Configure your Testimonials Page’ will now appear below.



Step 3: Edit Your Testimonials 

  • With the connection now established, press Edit your Testimonials

  • This will take you to your testimonials. 

  • Here you can set favorites to appear first when viewing your testimonials

  • This will apply to your Testimonial page as well as homepage widget

  • In the top right of these controls, click ‘Configure your Testimonials Page’ next



Step 4: Configure Your Testimonials 

  • Clicking Configure your Testimonials Page will take you to Testimonials Page Settings

  • This will set the defaults for how your Testimonials will display

  • Adjust settings as desired for registration, enabling/disabling the slideshow effect, and set the number of testimonials to display on the homepage widget.  

  • Press Save page settings to apply your changes, if any. 

And with that, you’re all set! Visit your website to verify that the testimonials page is displaying as desired, as well as the homepage widget.
