You can edit the navigation and pages by going to the Pages section in Edit Mode.


Pages

You can rename pages, hide pages and add text which displays at the top of each page.

IDXPro offers the following pages:

Navigation Menu

The navigation menu is the series of links or buttons at the top of the page that link to the pages on your site.

You can change the names, the order of the navigation or remove the navigation from the “Pages” section of the site.


Change the name of a navigation link.

  • To change the name of the navigation menu link, click “edit” for the page you want to rename and change the “Page Name”.

  • Save page settings.

  • Be careful of names that are too long because it can “break” the layout.


Change the order of the navigation menu.

  • From the “Pages” section, click the link, drag it up or down to the desired location, and drop it there.

  • The order of the navigation will display the same on your site as it shows in the “Pages” section.

Note: Hiding the Contact Form may make it difficult for visitors to contact you through your site.


Search Page Text

Each page allows for text to be displayed at the top of the page.

  • Each page allows for text to be displayed at the top of the page.

  • From the “Pages” section, click “edit” to select a page.

  • Enter the text in “Page Text” area. You can format the text and add links using the Content Editor.

  • Save page settings.


Hiding Pages

You can hide a page by removing it from displaying in the navigation.

  • From the “Pages” section, click on the “eye” icon on the right side of the link you want to hide or show.

  • If the eye shows in black and looks open the page will show.

  • If the eye shows in gray and looks closed the page will be hidden.


Set Default Search Page

You can set the default page (home page) that displays when a visitor arrives at your site.

  • From the “Pages” section, click “edit” to select the page you want as the default (home) page.

  • Check the box – “Make this your default search page”.

  • Save page settings.
